The Theatre
The Free Association is a brand new 100 seat theatre in Southwark, London. 3 minutes walk to Southwark tube, and within reach of Waterloo, London Bridge, Borough and the Southbank. Our beautifully designed space spans 2 floors - On the ground floor an accessible Theatre space, with 100 seats and a thrust stage - Perfect for presentations, meetings or rehearsals. We offer a manned reception / foyer area for greeting guests. Upstairs, we offer a fully stocked bar, and a private workshop space for rehearsals, writers rooms, breakout space or meetings.
By night our venue is a full-blown improv and alternative comedy venue and bar, and by day - it's a versatile events and training space. Hire the whole building, or individual spaces.

Classroom

The upstairs room at The Free Association is our workshop space and has double glazed reeded glass doors for privacy to the bar area. This place has floor to ceiling windows, 20 chairs and tables if required. A perfect spot for workshops, rehearsals, or meetings.
