For cohorts who want to go further, our optional Tailor Your Impact module helps participants understand how their communication and actions affect others – and how to adapt in the moment. Through improvised ‘Real Play’ scenarios covering conflict, feedback and collaboration, they learn to read the room and make conscious, empathetic choices.
At its heart is ‘The Detour’: the same conversation played out several times with small, deliberate changes in tone, body language or intent – showing how the smallest adjustments dramatically shift the outcome.
How do we deliver training?
We believe in learning through doing, not watching. The exercises in this workshop are rooted in the principles of long-form improvisation – the same techniques that professional performers use to create something from nothing, together, in real time.
In a workplace context, those principles become practical tools. The learning is actually felt in the room, meaning it tends to stick.
