Improv Chaos

1

A late night show for improvisers to let go of "but will it sell tickets" and remember why they started improv in the first place: being silly on stage with friends. This is not a show for punters. The hosts will receive weird silly chaotic improv pitches from improvisers who may be an existing group or formed for that night. No existing formats allowed.Existing groups can let go of their genre narrative format and feel energy from being loose. Format ideas might include: a three prov where one person can't see, one can't speak and one can't hear. A format where the only rule is to break all improv rules. A format where someone must come in through a door every 20 seconds. Etc.

This format is already done well in Glasgow (Improv fucktown) and Edinburgh, and I'm sure many other places.

This would be pitched for a late night weekend slot with the goal to get improvisers to come watch the previous shows and socialise between breaks. Pitches are welcome until the first break of the show and can be sent via a form.

Show can be 60 or 90mins with a break in the middle for more drink sales.

Host Marijke plus someone else who also likes chaos.
