In this 3-week course for advanced improvisers, we'll return to the fundamentals to remind you why you fell in love with improv in the first place.
Whether you're a regular performer, an experienced student, or someone who's been out of improv for a while and feels rusty, this workshops is designed to rejuvenate your play by showing you much joy there is in recommitting to the fundamentals.
It's easy to overlook just how crucial and how fulfilling the core philosophy of improv is at its simplest. We'll work on your listening, your 'Yes And'ing, and your emotional truth, to get you falling back in love with 'bring a brick, not a cathedral' improv.
About your instructor
Alex Holland is an award winning comedian, writer and improviser, and is headteacher at The Free Association. He's been a part of The FA theatre since its inception as a cast member in the first house teams and headline shows.
