Premise - Level 1: The Armando

In this class you will:

• Learn to perform the improv format 'The Armando'
• Learn how to give improvised monologues to open your show
• Learn how to initiate a scene with a clear comedic idea pulled from the opening monologues
• Learn how to use tags to explore comedic games
• Develop your ability to perform as a supportive team in a comedic improv show

Just so you know, our teachers assess the most beneficial placement for each student's progress so you may be asked to retake a course. Don’t worry, we still think you’re great, but it’s crucial to nail the skills in each level before moving on. That way you can hit the ground running and have more fun in your next class (and get a lovely big discount!).
