About this class
The best salespeople aren’t the ones with the slickest pitch: they’re the ones who actually listen and adapt.
Every sales conversation involves speaking to a human ... but humans go off-topic, raise objections you didn’t prepare for, and make decisions based on whether they trust you, not just whether your deck was good.
Most sales training focuses on the pitch. This session focuses on everything that happens when the pitch meets a real person.
Through hands-on exercises, participants will practise proper listening: setting aside their own agenda, staying present when the conversation goes somewhere unexpected, and building on what the other person actually says rather than steering back to the script.
We use techniques from the world of improv, but nobody is expected to be funny.
The work is practical, the scenarios are recognisable, and the habits that form in the room transfer directly to the next prospect meeting.
