We hold back 2 places on all our classes for scholarship students, to ensure there's space even if the class is sold out on the website. However, if a class is not available here but is available on our website, please get in touch with hello@thefreeassociation.co.uk to see if we can open up a spot to you.
About the course:
Learn to discover the unique form of your show as you perform it! In this course we’ll look at how applying the principles from Advanced Organic Level 1 to your team work and performance helps you to uncover the format of the show itself as you improvise.
In this class you will:
- Learn some standard and alternative improv forms
- Learn how teamwork, commitment, and support help create great shows as well as great scenes
- Practise exploring multiple different ideas generated from the audience suggestion
- Look at the structure of improv formats to see how these principles can apply to all shows
- Look at techniques for reinvesting in the theme or the repeated patterns
- Practise tying your show together to make your shows feel like a cohesive whole
Just so you know, our teachers assess the most beneficial placement for each student's progress so you may be asked to retake a course. Don’t worry, we still think you’re great, but it’s crucial to nail the skills in each level before moving on. That way you can hit the ground running and have more fun in your next class (and get a lovely big discount!).
