We hold back 2 places on all our classes for scholarship students, to ensure there's space even if the class is sold out on the website. However, if a class is not available here but is available on our website, please get in touch with hello@thefreeassociation.co.uk to see if we can open up a spot to you.
About the course:
Level 3 Game is a look into the ‘Game of the Scene’ and the FA approach to comedy, with a focus on finding and repeating comedic patterns, character point of view, heightening the Game, and the voice-of-reason.
In this class you will:
- Learn how to find and maintain a game through a scene
- Understand the difference between playing the voice-of-reason and playing the unusual character and the mechanics of playing each
- Learn about The FA approach to character point-of-view and its relationship to game
- Learn how to perform the Montage format
Just so you know, our teachers assess the most beneficial placement for each student's progress so you may be asked to retake a course. Don’t worry, we still think you’re great, but it’s crucial to nail the skills in each level before moving on. That way you can hit the ground running and have more fun in your next class (and get a lovely big discount!).
